Position Details:

Title:  Communications Coordinator (part-time; 3-4 hours/week)

Date posted: December 16— interviewing now. Training begins in January. Ideally coordinator would be on board with us at least Jan. 2019 – August 2020.

Hours/position details
: Approximately 15 hours/month. This is a work-from home position. Hours are flexible but coordinator needs to be available Monday-Friday.  Laptop required.  Family-friendly schedule/support; ideal for a mom with young kids who lives in Central Texas.

Pay/benefits:  Pay is commensurate with experience. Additional benefits: opportunity to become a RTA-Certified Facilitator (if desired), career planning/management and networking support/mentoring through Career Strategists and Renee Trudeau & Assoc., if desired. Other perks based on performance.

Ideal candidate:  An upbeat, organized Central-Texas based stay-at-home or work-from-home mom with a marketing/PR background. Ideal candidates is tech and communications savvy and interested in making a difference through deeply meaningful work  (supporting/empowering women through our national programs). Seeking someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible and able to take initiative and work independently. Strong computer skills necessary. This is a wonderful “career bridging” opportunity; our communications coord. will leave the position with a wide, vast international network of contacts.

Responsibilities:  Basic communications tasks ~ create and release Mail Chimp blasts; update our WP site each week (simple updates); writing/editing as needed; customer service/respond to speaking/media, RTA Facilitator, retreat and client inquiries as they come in via email; assist with marketing program execution; simple database management; minimal social media and event coord. support.  Provide administrative support as needed. Training provided.
