Tell us about yourself?
I currently live in St Louis, MO with my husband Jason, son Cole (4.5 yrs. old), our newest addition Campbell (6 months old) and our dog Pumpkin! I have been a part of the Personal Renewal Group (PRG) Program since 2006 when I participated in one of Renee’s groups when Cole was just 6 weeks old. I got trained and started leading PRG’s in 2007 and now lead most of my PRG’s telephonically for women across the United States. I’m also a Certified Life coach through CTI (The Coaches Training Institute), a Sr. Career Coach with Career Strategists and owner of The Mom Exchange, a life coaching company dedicated to helping women and moms who desire more out of life. I understand what it’s like to juggle the many demands of motherhood and feel pulled or drained to stay focused, balanced and or even alive in your own career and life and love helping moms find more fulfillment in life through both personalized individual coaching and my group coaching sessions.

Why did you become a Personal Renewal Group (PRG) Facilitator?
After having Cole, I went through my own life transition and realized that what I really wanted was to do something or be a part of something that had a direct impact on people and the world we live in. I started coaching in 2007 and loved being a part of my PRG so much and knew how it had helped me in so many areas of my life that I wanted to give this gift to other women and incorporate it into my business. I love working with groups of women and the connection we all feel from being a part of something so sacred. I’ve enjoyed seeing my groups evolve telephonically and the connections and insights we gain from one another no matter what city or state we live in. My current telephonic group is made up of women from Texas to California and regardless of where we live, we all enjoy a wonderful interconnectedness through this work.

How has the PRG work changed or affected you?
The PRG program has had a profound and long-lasting impact on me and my life. I recently had my second child and it’s amazing how different and heart felt this experience has been thanks to The Mother’s Guide to Self-Renewal messages and what I learned through me PRG’s. I’m definitely a lot more relaxed this time, am much more confident and comfortable with asking for help and just enjoy “living in the moment” and just being more than I ever did before. I’ve learned to focus on what’s important, let go of things that don’t fuel me and live a life that works best for me and my family. Even my friends and family have noticed the difference in me and how happy I am with my life these days!

What are your favorite self-care activities?
My favorite self-nurturing activities involve things that focus on me, my well-being and my connections with others. I absolutely love being outside running, walking and hiking as it gives me time to be with my thoughts, clear my head and feel more harmony and balance. Actually my entire family loves our family walks in the evenings as it’s our way to spend a little time together, be outside and just breathe after a busy day or week. I also love spending time with family and friends through traveling to different places. I learned through my PRG work, that trying something new– whether it be a new restaurant, a new activity/hobby or visiting a new city/location– really fuels me both inside and out and keeps that sense of adventure alive within me.
