Tell us about yourself:

I am a life coach, teacher, author, and lifelong learner.  As the founder of Inspired Possibility.  I partner with people to help them bring their most authentic, empowered self to life and step into the life they desire.

My work includes 1:1 life coaching (to people anywhere in the world), workshops, and women’s renewal and staff retreats.  I am also loving sharing my first book, 111 Invitations: Step into the Full Richness of Life, with people across the country!

I am married to my college sweetheart, Tom, and we have two sons, who are now young men.  We live in Livonia, NY.

Why did you become a RTA-Certified Facilitator?

I became a Personal Renewal Group facilitator because I experienced the power of this work firsthand at a retreat with Renee at Kripalu in Jan. 2014 (and several times since then).  I loved the authenticity, generosity, connection, and commitment that was evident in Renee and her PRG facilitators.  I knew this would be a great community to be part of and that I would be honored to extend the reach of the work.

I am passionate about personal renewal work because I know how critical it is in our busy world for people to make time for themselves, slow down, and tune in to their inner wisdom.  I also know how easy it is for women to put their own needs after the needs of others and to become depleted.  Being a PRG facilitator as a natural and integral part of my work.

How has the work/program affected you?

This work has changed my life, personally and professionally.  It has given me a deeper connection to myself, which has profoundly opened my eyes to myself and my work.  I have witnessed the power and beauty of creating a sacred space for deep connection, inner learning and sharing; I love bringing this opportunity to others.  I am aware of how unfamiliar and, therefore, how needed this work is for so many women.

I know that I’m here to help people learn how to make self-care part of daily life.  I’ve also discovered that the best thing we can do is to truly honor ourselves and live our own lives, no matter what is going on in our world or with the people we love deeply.  I have learned that sometimes our children are hurting and struggling, and while we hurt for them, for us to go down with them doesn’t serve anyone.  Finding a way to be in loving acceptance of their journey while creating joy, peace, and groundedness within ourselves is the best thing we can do for everyone.  Through my greatest challenges, my greatest growth has come, and I want the wisdom gained from my experience to serve others.

What are your favorite self-care activities?

Yoga is critical to my wellbeing on all levels:  mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual. I make sure to get to a yoga class several times/week.

Meditation and journaling are important as they help me to clear my mind, get in touch with my heart and spirit and connect me to my true self.  Being in nature, particularly near water, brings me peace and grounds me.  Personally going on retreat several times a year to really nourish and refill myself has been a sustaining force through challenging times.

Quiet time and stillness are critical, as is time for connection with those I love.  Special moments and conversations with friends nourish me. Making time with my husband to nurture and honor our relationship through date nights and weekend getaways has helped our marriage be the loving partnership it has been for 29 years.
