~ A Mentoring Program for Young Adult Women Ages 22-30, Brevard, NC ~

Welcome to Diana’s Circle, a new, free monthly mentoring experience designed for women in their 20s. This program will offer a space for connection, learning, growth and mentoring. The intention is to provide personal/professional development, skill-building and feature curated guest speakers leading interactive discussions on topics ranging from self-esteem/finding your voice to getting your financial house in order. Enjoy friendship, authentic connection, laughter and empowering, kind support.

Cara Bradshaw, Mentor/Marketing & Community Impact Director, on “The Hummingbird Way: Following Curiosity In Your Career.”

Cara Bradshaw, Community Impact Director at Sharing House in Brevard, is a strategic communicator, coalition builder, and leadership educator passionate about community resilience. She helps mission-driven teams lead with clarity and impact. She received her BA in Political Science from Drew University and her MA in International Affairs from The New School (MA). She has extensive experience speaking/mentoring and offering career guidance to professionals at various life stages. Outside of work, Cara is a hiking enthusiast, adventure cyclist, cold water dipper, novice potter, and animal lover.

In response to requests from young women in the Brevard-area, Diana’s Circle was created by Renee Trudeau and her mentoring team (Audri Van Gores, Brigid Cameron, Jen Whalen, Cara Bradshaw and the Diana’s Circle therapist in residence, Kate Hannon).
About Renee: Author/entrepreneur/coach and women’s leadership expert and author, Renee Peterson Trudeau has been mentoring women and students for 30+ years. She created/facilitated numerous national career and coaching conferences for students and women throughout the US; she designed/managed a highly successful internship program for more than 30 years; she has been a speaker at colleges across the US on career/life management and she was on the board for the award-winning Girls Empowerment Network (Austin, TX) for 10 years. The winner of the Mentor Award from Women Communicators of Austin and the recipient of the Women Communicators of Austin Leadership Award, she is a former advisory board member for Women in Communications and works with many girl and women-centric nonprofit organizations across the US. Diana’s Circle: Why the name? Diana (the name in Latin means “shining one”) is known in Greek and Roman mythology for being the patroness of “maidens” and the archetype associated with clarity, direction, wisdom and letting your light shine!
