Winter Solstice Mediation Retreat Friday, Dec. 21

1:00-5:30 p.m     ~For men and women~

McKinney Roughs Nature Preserve, Austin, TX

Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.    –Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

The Winter Solstice, the first day of winter and the shortest day of the year, is a reflective time to pause and honor our darkness and our light. What are the gifts you received from hardships in the last year?

Winter is a time to go inward: to pause, reflect, contemplate and replenish.  In the midst of holiday busyness, give yourself a sacred respite and join soulful, like-minded men and women in a still and quiet space. This silent meditation retreat is ideal for those who have never taken a silent retreat before or for seasoned meditators. Tap into the healing solace found in stillness and nature. A safe and nurturing environment designed to offer you the space to hear what you need to hear most.

Renée has been creating retreat experiences for 25+ years. Join her for a deeply restorative half-day meditation retreat** which will include meditative silence, contemplative time in nature, journaling, reflective sharing and a final deep relaxation. Come:

    • Rest in stillness and experience the gifts that come from silence
    • Enjoy the healing power of nature and a true digital detox
    • Tap into self-compassion and self-acceptance
    • Relax and connect with your needs, desires and your body’s natural rhythms
    • Meditate to enhance peace, harmony and resiliency in everyday life
    • Experience community and connection with like-minded men and women (option to remain in silence all afternoon)
    • Explore new ways of being and experience greater freedom and joy as you enter 2019

**Attendees will have the option to be in silence for the entire afternoon or to participate in brief opportunities for sharing.
