Position Details:

Title:  Communications Coordinator (very part-time)

Date posted: November 27, 2018— interviewing now. Training begins in January. Ideally coordinator would be on board with us at least Jan. 2019 – August 2020.

: Renee Trudeau & Associates:, a global coaching/consulting firm; our sister company is Career Strategists. We have been mentoring/guiding employees for 25 years.

Hours/position details
: Approximately 15 hours/month. This is a work-from home position. Hours are flexible but coordinator needs to be available Monday-Friday.  Laptop required.  Family-friendly schedule/support.

Office location: South Austin, near Central Market Westgate; communications team is national and located around the US. Some events are in TX.

Pay/benefits:  Pay is commensurate with experience. Additional benefits: opportunity to become a RTA-Certified Facilitator (if desired), career planning/management and networking support/mentoring through Career Strategists and Renee Trudeau & Assoc., if desired.

Ideal candidate:  An upbeat, organized, South or Central Austin work-from-home mom with a marketing/PR background. Ideal candidates is tech and communications savvy and interested in making a difference through deeply meaningful work     (supporting/empowering women through our national programs). Seeking someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible and able to take initiative and work independently. Strong computer skills necessary. This is a wonderful “career bridging” opportunity; our communications coord. will leave the position with a wide, vast international network of contacts.

Responsibilities:  Basic communications tasks ~ create and release Mail Chimp blasts, update our WP site each week (simple updates), writing/editing as needed, respond to speaking/media, RTA Facilitator, retreat and customer inquiries as they come in via email, assist with marketing program execution, simple database management, some social media support and some event coord. support.  Administrative support as needed. Training provided.
