(Video) What Do You Most Need Right Now?
I woke up Monday morning and did not want to get out of bed. I could feel an internal push and pull: all I want to do is sip tea by a fire (fall has arrived in the mountains!) and I really need to hit some important work deadlines.
I’ve learned when this resistance shows up, it’s best not to push and most helpful to put my hand on my chest, befriend myself and ask, “What do I most need right now?” This morning I heard: let go, take a long, restful 2-hour lunch, make time to connect with a close friend and trust that it will all get done. Ahhh… exhale. Yes! Join me this week in attuning to what you most need right now:
