What Wakes You Up (+ a message from my Dad)?
My father–a brilliant, eccentric, adventurous, life-loving physician and ardent student of philosophy–died suddenly of a heart attack at age 56 (my current age). He crossed over on Dec. 3rd leaving six children. “Don’t die with your music still in you,” from Wayne Dyer was one of his favorite quotes. This week I’m feeling his presence strongly and leaning in to his wisdom as I reflect on what helps me stay AWAKE?! I invite you to join me:
Resonate with this theme and want more? Read What Makes You Come Alive? from our favorites vault and check out A Year to Live by author Stephen Levine who asks, “If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make–who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?”
