(Video) Can I Practice the Art of Non-Attachment?
Yesterday I noticed my mind ping-ponging between what October 2019 looked like (leading retreats at gorgeous venues, traveling to big cities to speak at large conferences, exciting and fulfilling group gatherings, enjoying vacations with friends/family) versus how things look now: not bad, but very different.
I also observed how much suffering I create for myself when I cling to my expectations of how I think things should be or used to be … and how much peace, release and freedom I feel when I can let go and surrender to the now.
Lately I’ve been practicing accepting all of it–the uncertainty, the ambiguity, the constantly shifting plans, the irritability and frustration— and truly being with what is. Join me this week as I explore (2 min. video): Can I Practice the Art of Non-Attachment?
