How Do You Slow Down (when everything is sped up)?

Feel like everything is moving really fast? Me, too. When I feel my breathing speed up and my chest tighten, it’s a signal I’m allowing my external environment to affect my internal state. And, I need to pause, breathe deeply and re-assess. My wise therapist Frances used to tell me in my 30’s when I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off, “Beware of a sense of urgency!” Join me this week as I reflect on the question, “How can I slow down when everything around me is speeding up?” (2 min. video).
